The ground rules for booking and receiving service with us.
Agreement to these terms
By using this website, requesting an appointment, or having your vehicle serviced by Motor Shine Garage, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
Services and estimates
All prices shown on this site are starting prices for typical vehicles in average condition. Final pricing is confirmed after we inspect your vehicle. Heavy soiling, pet hair, biohazards, excessive sand, smoke odor, or oversized vehicles may require additional time and cost, which we will communicate before work begins.
Appointments, deposits and cancellations
Appointment requests submitted online are not confirmed until we respond. Where a deposit is required, it secures your time slot. Please give as much notice as possible for cancellations or reschedules; repeated no-shows may require a deposit for future bookings. See our Service Policies page for details.
Vehicle condition and pre-existing damage
Detailing can reveal pre-existing conditions such as clear coat failure, prior paint work, scratches, dents, worn or torn upholstery, aftermarket wraps and films, sun damage, or previously repaired areas. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or for defects revealed (not caused) by cleaning or polishing. Please remove all personal belongings before your appointment; we are not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
Results and limitations
Detailing is a service, not a guarantee of a specific outcome. Some stains, odors, etching, oxidation, water spots and swirl marks cannot be fully removed. We will always tell you what we realistically expect to achieve before we start.
Ceramic coating and warranties
Any coating durability period we quote depends on proper maintenance, storage, and wash technique. Coverage terms, exclusions and maintenance requirements are provided in writing at the time of service. Improper care, automatic car washes, harsh chemicals, or abrasive damage void any coverage.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Vehicles are released after payment is received.
Refunds
Deposits, cancellations, late cancellations and re-do requests are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Images on this site
Before-and-after photos and video on this site are of real vehicles serviced by Motor Shine Garage. Any illustrative stock or generated imagery is licensed for our use. Results vary by vehicle and condition.
Photos of your vehicle
We may photograph vehicles before, during and after service for quality control and for marketing on our website and social channels. Identifying details such as license plates are obscured where practical. If you prefer your vehicle not appear in marketing, tell us and we will honor that.
Communications consent
By providing your phone number or email you agree that we may contact you about your appointment by phone, text message or email. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts, or contact Motorshinegarage@gmail.com to opt out of email.
Website use
The content, logos, images and copy on this website belong to Motor Shine Garage and may not be copied or reused without permission. Do not use this site to submit unlawful, misleading or harmful content.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services or this website is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law rules.
